I have just graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a BFA in Communication Design in May 2017, and am joining Microsoft as a UX designer this fall. I am passionate about combining stories and technology through different methods of design to create meaningful experiences that inspire self-reflections, conversations, social interactions and community engagement. I enjoy finding inspirations in the ordinary, and believe strongly in the power of narratives. With different design approaches such as speculative critique and generative co-design, or through the lens of design philosophy, I strive to propose alternative ways of perceiving, empowering and shaping culture.
Born and raised in Hong Kong, I have lived in England for two years before coming to the States. I love exploring new places and finding new inspirations. Music, writing and reading are also some of the things that help keep me sane. I can be found very happy on a sunny day in autumn, with a good book and my loved ones. Through it all, I always remember to stay grounded in Christ and remain thankful.
I'd love to talk!
